Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Scientific Council for Land and water resources management and environmental protection issues of ANAS Republican Council for Coordination of Scientific Research  held an assembly. 

Reporting in the assembly chairman of Council, corresponding member of ANAS Amin Ismayilov informed about the issues of agenda. Notifying on UN’s declaration the current year as a year of International soil, A.Ismayilov spoke about the taken measures in this field. He brought to mind his visit to the ISRIC located in Wageningen, Netherland.

Topics of research works included the Scientific Council for Land and water resources management and environmental protection issues, thesis topics of PhD students etc. were discussed in the assembly. Besides members of Scientific Council, assembly was attended by soil scientists who were invited to.

Then, head of Soil section, Acad. Maharram Babayev gave information on the documents entered the Council. Research works have been discussed by participation of PhD students and candidates for a degree.
