Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Director of the Joint Nuclear Research Institute in Dubna, Acad. Victor MATVEYEV reported in the event. He noted the global changes directed to modernizing of scientific infrastructure of ANAS, applying latest technologies, integrating of science, education and production.

"Republic of Azerbaijan participates in our international inter-governmental scientific organization with full capacity and contributes to its development", said the guest and notified about functioning of Azerbaijani scientists in Joint Nuclear Research Institute for a long time. He wished successes to the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan towards improving the Azerbaijan science.

Victor Matveyev made speech on establishment history, fundamental and applied studies of the Joint Nuclear Research Institute, which combines 18 countries of the world. Scientists of the Institute of Physics of ANAS closely collaborate via scientists of Dubna and contribute to one of the vital and modern projects of fundamental Physics. They are fully co-authors with the individuals who awarded the Nobel Prize, he stated.

In closing, scientist congratulated employees of ANAS, whole scientific community and Republic of Azerbaijan on the occasion of this remarkable event – 70th anniversary of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, wished successes to everyone for sake of development of this scientific temple.
