Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

A few days ago "Light of the science truths" book (life, work and the era of Academician Musa Aliyev) was published in an elegant design by the publishing house "Elm".

The book, which author is Dr. Philology Almaz Ulvi (Binnatova), is devoted to the 70th anniversary of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS). The book, published by the decision of the Presidium of ANAS, describes the life, scientific, organizational, public and social activities of Academician Musa Aliyev.

Along with articles on "Life, which will serve as an example for future generations", "Treasure, mountains, rocks, meadows, which are impregnated with the lyrics", "Ashgabat page of life", "Master of Musa Aliyev", "First-employment in Moscow", new edition also reflected memories of prominent scientists about M.Aliyev and also information on books devoted to the scientist.

In the book is narrated that, Aliyev Musa Mirza oglu was born on April 11, 1908 in Shamakhi and a part of the childhood spent in Central Asia – Ashgabat. Doctor of Geology and Mineralogy, former President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Professor, honorary oil industry worker, laureate of the Azerbaijan State Prize, Academician Musa Aliyev as one of the most prominent persons, occupies a worthy place in the history of domestic science of XX century. Musa Aliyev also brought great innovations in the oil science.

Edition once more underlines with a sense of great pride that, the 100th anniversary of this famous personality which won glory on the international arena was celebrated at the level of UNESCO.

Scientific adviser of the book is ANAS President, Academician Akif Alizadeh, scientific editor and reviewer - Vice-President of the Academy, Academician Isa Habibbeyli and Ibrahim Guliyev. Editor is Professor Ismayil Mammadov.
