For the first time in Azerbaijan’s history of independence, early elections to the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan are taking place under conditions where our territorial integrity and sovereignty have been fully restored. These elections aim to renew society and implement more extensive reforms in the new historical period. The fact that the New Azerbaijan Party nominated its candidates from all 125 constituencies for the first time demonstrates that this strong and organized party with rich traditions has significant political potential and a reliable reserve of personnel. It also clearly shows the determination of the New Azerbaijan Party to win once again and its belief in achieving victory.  

In addition, the presence of well-known intellectuals, experienced professionals, and respected figures among the candidates from the New Azerbaijan Party instills great confidence that the Party will gain a majority in parliament once again. Having long-serving parliamentarians among the candidates shows the Party's commitment to strengthening their experienced core team and creatively using their knowledge and skills for the development of modern society. Observations show that the party’s list of candidates also includes young individuals. This clearly shows the Party's intention to face this new historical period with fresh forces. Increasing the number of female candidates from the New Azerbaijan Party in the elections aims to support the further development of democratization and gender equality initiatives, which are continuing to deepen and expand in our country. In my opinion, nominating many chairmen of local organizations of the New Azerbaijan Party as candidates is a purposeful step. This step is important because it helps to strengthen the ruling party’s position in the parliament.

In short, the analysis of the initial purposeful steps shows that the candidates of the New Azerbaijan Party have all opportunities to participate actively and at a high level in the pre-election political process. This will lead to greater voter participation from various parts of society in the elections to the Milli Majlis. 

We believe that the elections to the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan of the seventh convocation, like all previous ones, will be held in a democratic environment, will lay the political and ideological foundation for a new stage in the republic's modern development, and will lead to even further advancement of the highest legislative authority. Overall, the elections for the Milli Majlis of the seventh convocation will make a valuable contribution to the implementation of the multifaceted and targeted policy pursued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, who is working continuously and with determination for the further development of our independent state.
