“Azerbaijan is one of the countries in the world that takes important steps to solve climate change”-said Isa Habibbeyli, president of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, during the Baku Climate Science Conference on “Accelerating Research and Collaboration for Climate Action” held within the Baku Climate Action Week.
Academician Isa Habibbeyli noted that, as in the rest of the world, ecological problems have also become a major issue in our country in recent years. “Currently new fields of science, such as eco-linguistics, are emerging. It is essential to implement complex projects to solve the climate problem. I consider that to contribute to solving global warming, scientific institutions from partner countries should implement joint projects.”-said the Academician.
