Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Today marks the 75th anniversary of Academician Isa Habibbeyli, President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Philology, Professor, Honored Scientist of the Republic of Azerbaijan. An electronic database titled “Academician Isa Habibbeyli-75” has been created, in honor of the academician’s anniversary. The electronic database has been placed on the library’s official website.

The database encompasses the rich scientific and socio-political activities of the academician and includes several sections. It contains official documents signed by President Ilham Aliyev regarding the awarding of orders, medals and awards to academician Isa Habibbeyli, the full texts of articles dedicated to the academician and valuable opinions expressed by several prominent figures about him. The database prepared by the library staff presents a list of books, articles and dissertations authored, supervised, advised or edited by Isa Habibbeyli, as well as his scripts and translations. The electronic database, which includes books and articles written about the author, also showcases a virtual exhibition of the academician’s books, along with a video and photo gallery.

A virtual book exhibition has been prepared in the library, regarding Academician Isa Habibbeyli’s jubilee, reflecting his life path enriched with scientific research. The virtual exhibition, available on the library’s official website, includes sections such as “Awards” and “Memories from Diplomatic Meetings”. Additionally, it provides brief annotations of books authored by Isa Habibbeyli and samples from periodicals.
