Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Presidium of ANAS held the meeting of the Department of Agrarian Sciences on January 18.

The event was opened by the Academician-Secretary of the Department, Academician Garib Mammadov informed the participants about issues on the agenda.

At a meeting primarily was discussion and approved the topics for doctoral training program for PhD in the institutes of the department.

At the event also was discussed the final report of the Institutes on "National Strategy on Science Development in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2009-2015", approved by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated on 4 May 2009.

Further, directors of the institutes of Department acted due to the work done in research institutions led by them in accordance with the Action Plan.

Academician Garib Mammadov gave instructions for the submission of final reports to the Department on the done work.

At the end of the event were discussed the results of scientific and organizational activities of the department in the past year.
