Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

On January 29, the head of the Culture Centre of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Azerbaijan, Ibrahim Ibrahimi visited the Institute of Oriental Studies named after academician Ziya Bunyadov of ANAS and met with director of the Institute of Oriental Studies, corresponding member of ANAS Govhar Bakhshaliyeva.

At the meeting, held talks on relations between Iran and Azerbaijan in the field of science, culture, education, discussed the further development of relations between the Institute of Oriental Studies and the Culture Center of Iran. During the talks the parties exchanged views on joint programming of research activities in Iran and Azerbaijan, mutual visits of scientists, republication of books in Iran study and releasing of new academic papers.
