The Institute of Information Technology of ANAS held the next seminar. Opening the event, Director of the Institute,  Academician-Secretary of ANAS Academician Rasim Alguliyev has brought to the attention of the issues on the agenda.  He reported about 1st Republican scientific-practical conference "Multidisciplinary problems of e-medicine" to be held on May 24, supported by Presidium of ANAS, Azerbaijan Medical University and Institute of Information Technology of ANAS. 

R.Alguliyev stressed that the event is the first conference devoted to the multidisciplinary challenges of E-medicine, which constitute one of the priority research areas of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

He noted that, the development of a national concept of e-medicine and fundamental research in the scientific institutions in this area, will give impulse to achieve significant progress towards the development of e-medicine. "E-medicine is one of the most perspective sectors and the important achievements of the modern information society of the leading countries of the world are connected with this sphere. The globalization process in the world, rapid development of modern technologies make necessary application of information technologies in medicine. From this viewpoint of medicine problems in the ICT context a possibility of introduction and prospect of new technologies, including studying the issues of formation demography of e-medicine, are important in formation of standard and legal base of e-medicine, safety of personal medical data in online environment, ensuring human health in the conditions of information society".

According to the scientist, should be carried out fundamental research on personal individual medical data, Big Data, Data Science and projections of medical specialties, clouding of e-medicine cards, medical expert systems, technologies, e-medicine and cloud technologies, medical electronics, information revolution and the evolution of medical knowledge.

Also is important to explore the possibility of application of 3D-technology, biometrics, Data Mining technology and supercomputing technologies. R.Alguliyev stressed the need to study the experience of international organizations and foreign countries in the field of e-medicine, trends observed in this area in the world, with new challenges and prospects for the applications of the necessary knowledge.

Then Head of Training and Innovation Centre of ICT Rasmiya Mahmudova acted in connection with the requirements for lectures, taught on computer science to doctoral students and PhDs.

She noted that, availability and consistency of lectures to the modern level of science are one of important factors.

The next speaker, Head of the Department Anar Samidov told on photo and video recording with 360 degree and said that, such recording creating a visual representation of space. Informing that the photos and a video shooting with a review of 360 degrees held by means of equipment with high technical performance, A.Samidov noted that, in the "360 degree" of website www.ikt.az of the Institute it is possible to explore the virtual institute.

Informing that, photos and a video shooting with a review of 360 degrees was held equipment with high technical capabilities. A.Samidov noted that, virtual exploring of the institute is avaibale in the section "360 degree" of the www.ikt.az website of the Institute.

Finally, exchange of views, suggestions and recommendations were made.
