Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

ANAS Institute of Geology and Geophysics preps under way an edition of promo natured, dealing with geology and geography of Western region of Azerbaijan. It is realized within a year of project “Natural heritage of Western Azerbaijan” funded by UNESCO.

According to project manager – Chief of Geotectonic and regional geology department of the aforementioned institute, corresponding member of ANAS Talat Kangarli, geology and geography of Western region of Azerbaijan, including data about rare nature monuments would be collected and published in a book form. Edition will embrace mineral resources of the territory, extraordinary geological objects and landscapes, lakes, mineral water springs and other amazing nature patterns as well.

Book to be written in English is intended to publish this year.
