Director of the Institute of Physiology reported at the event in Russia

Yakutsk of Sakha Republic of the Russian Federation hosted Russian scientific-practical conference on the topic "Age, pathology problems in the Arctic region: biological, clinical and social aspects".

Within the conference attended over the 250 local and foreign scientists, was held 2 plenar and 3 Department assemblies and "Predictive (anti-aging), medicine - innovative solutions on the way of nation health" symposium.

In total, more than 40 reports were delivered and discussed.

At the plenary session of the conference Director of the Institute of Physiology of ANAS, Doctor of Biology Science Ulduz Hashimova delivered the report on "High longevity index of populations and biomedical research results".

The report including the results of an international expedition held in Lankaran region in July and August of last year.The report was aroused great interest by the participants.

U.Hashimova held discussions with herontological community leaders, attended the event from Europe, Russia and Belarus, on the prospects for international cooperation in this field.
