Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The scientists of Azerbaijan, Georgia and U.S conduct in the Caucasus research works in the field of geological threats and modern geodynamic activity in various areas.

Research works are carried out in framework of the project "Active geodynamics of the Caucasus" with the financial support of the U.S National Academy of Sciences.

Project Manager is Academician-Secretary of ANAS Department of Earth Sciences, director of the Department of Geodynamics and Seismology of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Academician Fakhraddin Gadirov. Period of two-year project expires at the end of this year.

Note that, the achieved results were discussed at the Georgia National Academy of Sciences.
