Major selection in master’s degree for 2016/2017 academic year in higher education institutions and Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences will be held from June 9 to 19.

Major selection is admitted graduates, meet the terms of competition under results of two stages of this year's entrance exams to master's degree.

The bachelors can provide up over 20 specialties in “The bachelor’s e-application form for major selection” by admission program, based on government order and fee basis. The bachelor's selected specialties should be appropriate to his qualification exam and bachelor’s degree graduated (requirements for a foreign language in some specialties).

Bachelor enters the selected specialties in sequence to the electronic application form on the website of the SCSA, indicates for each specialty on his desire of education on government order or fee basis, and confirms his major selection.

The sequence of the chosen specialties in the application form is accepted as the legal basis during the competition and bachelor is positioned on the first point of selected majors due to his scores. Having graduated master's degree by the government order could choose only the codes of fee basis of specialties.

Those, who had foreign language exam in Arabic or Persian languages, are able to choose specialties of programs N 38 or N 46 in accordance with the “Schedule of major selection”.

Admission to master studies of ANAS is carried out by a joint of Azerbaijani and Russian sectors based on government order only. Bachelors, satisfying the terms of the competition and wishing to enter master specializations of ANAS, should electronically register from June 9 to 12, and have interview on June 13-14 in ANAS.

Competition is carried out due to the sum of the scores (total scores) accumulated by first and second stages of entrance exams.

The competition is going to allow the bachelors, selecting and confirming majors in “The bachelor’s e-application form for major selection” over defined time. After confirming the application it will not be able to make any changes.
