Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

A bulk of lyric poems – “Divan” by poet Karbalayi Gara Mashadi Suleyman oglu Aliyev, who lived in Shusha city, in one of the fascinating places of Azerbaijan in the end of XIX and early XX century, and penned under pseudonym “Novbari”, was released.

A dictionary of Arabic-Persian words is also included the book which of is author Haji Mustafa Mailoglu. Tahira Nuraliyeva, a leading fellow at the Institute of Manuscripts PhD in Philology, has transphoneliterated poet’s “Divan” into the modern alphabet and wrote “Preface” to the publication. The book was released in the “Science” publishing-house.

Note that, J.Nagiyeva and T.Nuraliyeva have also published poet’s takhmis written to the gazals of Fuzuli.
