Book poems "Ismi Punhan" by great man-of-letter Molla Juma, was published in a graceful design and handed over to the readers.

The book, prepared on the occasion of 160th anniversary of the poet, by the Ashug Union of Azerbaijan is allocated a place to samples of poems of Ashug art, reflecting the splendor of Molla’s Juma creativity.

The compilers of the book are the chairman of the Union of Azerbaijan Ashug, Professor Maharram Gasimli and Molla Juma’s great-grandson Elman Azizov and editor is Yegana Mammadov.

In the "Preface" written to the book, director of the Institute of History, corresponding member of ANAS Yagub Mahmudov described the master of ashug poetry as martyr of independence and stressed: "Molla Juma was not only ashug, who performed saz, composed words, told epics and entertained the representatives of event.

Actually, he was a poet perfectly owning Arabic, Persian, Turkish and left a valuable literary heritage in the form of manuscripts after himself".
