Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Museum of Science History will be created at ANAS. Decree on this was taken at a regular meeting of the Presidium of ANAS which was held on 29 June in Shamakhi.

In his speech on this issue, Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Ibrahim Guliyev noted that, for the promotion of science in Azerbaijan, propaganda of scientific achievements, to increasing interest in science among young people, as well as the collection and storage of exhibits reflecting historical way of national science, they demonstration in the exposition and at exhibitions was matured a great need for the creation of the history of science at the Institute of ANAS Museum of the history of science.

Academician spoke about the exceptional role of museums in preserving and promoting of history, literature and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan.

Emphasized that, these organizations are treasuries of material and non-material heritage, Academician Ibrahim Guliyev has noted that, in all cities and areas of our republic the museums of various profiles are created, in the country the wide museum network is created.
