Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Scientific-Secretary of the Institute of Botany of ANAS, PhD in biology Khuraman Khalilova, head of the Laboratory of Ethnobotany, Professor Sayara Ibadullayeva and employee of institution Hasrat Mammadov attended the II International Symposium «SEAB-2016. Biodiversity in Eurasia ", which held at the University of Pamukkale in Antalya Turkey.

The conference was also attended by scientists and Turkey, Kazakhstan specialists of Belarus and Russia, and exchanged views on the current state of biodiversity in Eurasia and its protection.

At the international event was delivered a report by S.Ibadullaeva on "Results of ethnobotanical studies in the flora of Azerbaijan" and H.Halilova "Interaction of halophytes and glycophyte in conditions of chlorous salinity. Biological reclamation".

Reports of Azerbaijani scientists aroused great interest among the participants of the symposium.
