“Art of Azerbaijan and CIS countries in the years of independence” conference held

October 10, Main building of ANAS hosted for international conference “Art of Azerbaijan and CIS countries in the years of independence” organized by Institute of Architecture and Art. Event was dedicated to 25th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS Artagin Salamzadeh spoke about a great development way of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 25 years.

Vice-President of ANAS Academician Isa Habibbeyli noted the relevance of the conference. Starting events in ANAS concerning 25th anniversary of state independence I.Habibbeyli said that, in a short independence history Azerbaijan gained several achievements.

Lectures were listened at the event on "Gorgud image in painting of independent Turkic states”, "Basics of music turkology", "Development of Azerbaijan architecture during years of independence”, “Development of modern art of carpet".
