Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

October 21 at 11:00 at the hall of the "Azerbaijani community of Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan Republic" Public Union will be held presentation of "Karabakh clothes elements" the book-catalog, published on the basis of the grant of Science Development Foundation under the President of Azerbaijan Republic. The event will be held by the organizational support of Public Union "Azerbaijani community of Nagorno Karabakh region of Azerbaijan Republic" devoted to the 25th anniversary of restoration of state independence of Azerbaijan.

The authors of the book are Fazil Aliyev and Gulzada Abdulova.

On the basis of field ethnographic materials, archive documents, museum collections, family photos, issues concerning culture of clothes of the population of the Karabakh historical and ethnographic region of Azerbaijan at the beginning of the 19-20th centuries, its classification, regional and local features, an evident and visual type, a historical and ethnographic research and also influence on this culture of socio-political, economic and cultural events of the period for the first time found reflection in the book catalog.

In the catalog the place is also allocated to the jewelry which is an integral part of national clothes and their scientific value is established.
