"Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno-Karabakh region of the Republic of Azerbaijan" Public Union was held presentation of the book-catalog " Clothing of Karabakh " published on the basis of the grant of Science Development Foundation (SDF) under the President of Azerbaijan Republic on October 21.

Speaking at the event the head of the Executive Power of Shusha region Bayram Safarov informed the participants about the book-catalog and described the new edition as an important source in terms of demonstrating our people's clothing culture, and the promotion of national traditions and customs.

The next speaker was the executive director of SDF Elchin Babayev, who spoke about the importance of grant competitions held by structure led by him.

Informing about the book-catalog, the Executive Director noted that the present edition, dedicated to the comprehensive study of clothing culture of the population of Karabakh region with historical and ethnographic point of view.

In the presented edition on the basis of field ethnographic materials, archival documents, museum collections studied culture apparel population Karabakh region of Azerbaijan in the XIX-XX centuries. The book-catalog also reflected vividly-visual images of clothes, historical and ethnographic research questions, as well as the impact of socio-political, cultural and economic events in the era of clothing culture.

The authors of the publication are Fazil Veliyev and Gulzade Abdulova, science editor - Doctor of art sciences Sabira Dunyamaliyeva and reviewers - corresponding member of ANAS, Doctor on art study Haji Gadir Gadirzadeh and Doctor on art study Sevil Sadighova, PhD on art study Gulnara Ibdova.

Other participants of the event stressed the importance of papers and books, catalogs, dedicated to the history and culture of Karabakh and wished success to the authors.

Then, was demonstrated the Karabakh clothes.

The event also presented a new internet portal of Science Development Foundation and the electronic control system of grant projects "e-Qrant", established by the Foundation for the development of science. Fund-based by the President Ilham Aliyev on October 21, 2009, over the past seven years has provided financial support to hundreds of research projects and publications, created a new laboratory at the advanced level updated database of scientific instruments and equipment in various structures, held dozens of international and regional conferences and a grant training programs.
