Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The Department of Applied Linguistics of ANAS Institute of Linguistics after Nasimi prepared Dictionary "New words and new meanings." Dictionary recently published has included about 2000 new words and terms covering the field of science, the equipment, cosmetology and various spheres of life. Their interpretation was given.

A word commonly used in our language, but received a new meaning in the modern period, reflected in the dictionary as a part of phrases. The dictionary gives some equivalents of loan words in the Azerbaijani language. The editor-in-chief of the edition is Head of the Department Applied Linguistics, Professor Ismail Mammadov. The staff of mass media and wide reader's audience can use the dictionary.
