Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

State Musical Drama Theatre of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic held event dedicated to chairman of Nakhchivan Writers' Union, poet-dramatist Asim Yadigar’s 60th jubilee.

In advance, papers and books by poet published in the periodical press were exhibited.

Asim Yadigar has been awarded with Honorary Order of NAR Supreme Assembly for his merits in the social-cultural life of Nakhchivan and the Order has submitted to him in the event.

Khaneli Karimli - PhD in philology, teacher of Nakhchivan State University, Rafig Babayev - PhD in philology, chief of “Folklore study” department of the Institute of Art, Language and Literature of ANAS Nakhchivan Branch, poet Ibrahim Yusifoglu and others stated that national ideology is the base of Asim Yadigar’s creativity.

Finally, poet's poems were recited, plays of drama were staged and songs composed his plays were played.
