Museum of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS Nakhchivan Division held open lesson for the students of III course of Chair of Archives and Museum Studies of Faculty of History and Philology Nakhchivan State University.

The goal of the open lesson is to study the rich history of ancient Nakhchivan, propaganda among the public of material culture samples obtained as a result of archeological excavations in different areas of the region.

At the lesson in according to the theme of archeological culture spread in the territory of Nakhchivan to the students were provided with detailed information about museum exhibits that reflect the culture of the Neolithic, Enolita, Kura-Araz and Nakhchivan.

Head of the Department of the Archaeological Survey of the Institute of History, Ethnography and Archaeology of Division, PhD in History, Associate Professor Zeynab Guliyeva informed the students about the museum demonstrated 445 exhibits, reflecting a history of our region, which has a rich past.

It was noted that, the exhibits which included into exposition of the museum are the material and cultural samples revealed at a research of ancient monuments of various territories of our region in 2006-2016 on the basis of the historical order of the chairman of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic "About protection of the organization and certification of historical and cultural monuments on the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic".
