ANAS National History Azerbaijan Museum, held event devoted to 31 December - Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis on December 27.

Speaking at the event, Director of the museum, Academician Naila Velikhanli told about the significance of the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis. It was noted that, Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis was declared on the initiative of national leader Heydar Aliyev during his presidency of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, as well as by the decision of the Supreme Assembly dated 16 December 1991.

Then the chief of staff of the Sabail district YAP organization Zafar Bayramov, chairman of the "Association of Young Patriots" Mugan Aliyev and others spoke about the Day of Solidarity, announced by the national leader Heydar Aliyev and uniting Azerbaijanis all over the world. They were also informed about Azerbaijan's achievements in foreign policy under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, as well as the care of the state, exhibited against Azerbaijanis, residing abroad.
