ANAS President, Academician Akif Alizadeh met with the executive director of the «Millers Oils Ltd» company (United Kingdom) Jami Rihanna and Head of Business Development Department of the company Martin Goufom.

Welcoming the guests, Academician Akif Alizadeh said that, he was glad to see them in the Academy. He said that, in recent years, ANAS has been studied world experience in the development of effective mechanisms for innovation activities carried out appropriate reforms to the transfer of scientific research into production.

Adding that the work to expand the areas of innovation and high-tech, relying on scientific and technological advances continue, Academician Akif Alizadeh expressed his confidence that the cooperation with the company «Millers Oils Ltd» will be fruitful.

In turn, executive director of Jami Rian said that, he attaches great importance to cooperation with ANAS and stressed satisfaction with the conditions created in the Hi-Tech Park. The Executive Director added that soon will identify priority areas of cooperation.

The meeting was attended by Vice-President of ANAS - Academician Ibrahim Guliyev and Academician Dilgam Tagiyev, head of the Administrative Department of ANAS, PhD in Political Science Fatali Abdullayev, head of the Public Relations Department and the Popularization of Science of ANAS Presidium Administrative Department Zulfuqar Farzaliyev and Director of Limited Liability Company ANAS "Science and technology Park" Sanan Abdullayev.

Before this meeting, in order to study the prospects of cooperation between the company «Millers Oils Ltd» and Academy of Sciences, executive director Jami Rian and Head of Business Development Company Gouf Martin visited the Park of High Technologies of ANAS and got acquainted with the production process.

Head of ANAS Administrative Department of the Presidium Fatali Abdullayev told representatives of the company on the activities of the Park of High Technologies. He noted that, the main objective of the Park is to create a direct connection between science and production, development of new technological processes in the experimental and pilot scale and production of petrochemical and technical products.

Fatali Abdullayev noted that, at the High-Tech Park is made of 45 kinds of innovative products, for example, various motor, compressor and hydraulic oils, plastic lubricants, etc.

He stressed that, the nstitution has been awarded the ISO certificates which confirm the compliance of the production process a high standard for quality management systems, environmental protection, occupational safety and health.
