“Investigation history of English grammar in Azerbaijan” monograph by a researcher of the Institute of Art, Language and Literature of Nakhchivan Branch of ANAS – Leyla Safarova, was published.

Scientific editor of the book is Dr. Philology Professor Fikrat Jahangirov, reviewers – corresponding member of ANAS Professor Abulfaz Guliyev and Dr. Philology Prof. Adil Babayev.

Monograph conducts studies carried out in learning English grammar on the textbooks for highest schools and other manuals.

In the work for the first time the author explores how and by which principles English grammar is study by linguists in Azerbaijan. Meanwhile, she investigates the activities of linguists who had merits in study of English teaching and grammar in the country in chronological sequence, and holds comparisons on the language facts among books of Soviet Union linguists and world's leading linguists.

The new edition is intended for post-graduates, doctoral students, as well as those, dealing with the theoretic problems of English language.
