Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Director of the ANAS Academy campus Bayram Babayev marks the 60th anniversary on April.

He was born in Imishli in the master's family.He studied at the Imishli secondary railway school in 1964-1974, in 1974 entered the faculty of geological exploration of the Institute of Petrochemistry named after Azizbekov. Starting his career at the Institute of Geology and Geophysics of ANAS, he worked as a laboratory assistant, research assistant, and then, chief engineer.

His scientific articles on the intrusions of the Lesser Caucasus, located in the territory of Nakhchivan (Ilandag, Alinja, Berdyk, etc.) are published in the republic and abroad juarnals.

In January 2016, Babayev was appointed as Director of the Academy campus of ANAS. He dutifully performs the technical and economic work of the town, works related to repair, safety, gardening, and also controls the vehicles of the building's employees.

We congratulat B. Babayev, who has invaluable services in the public life of ANAS, on his 60th birthday and wish him success in his future work!
