Baku prepares to the 23th World Congress for Medical Law

Local Scientific Committee has held a regular meeting at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies with the purpose to be prepared to the 23th World Congress for Medical Law of the World Association for Medical Law (WAML) in Baku.

Deputy Chairman of the WAML and program manager of the congress, Prof. Vugar Mammadov stated that, 50 years pass since the establishment of WAML and congress will take place in July this year. Holding Golden Jubilee celebration in Baku is of great importance. In the post-soviet region, for the first time Baku will host such an event, which will cover medical law, bioethics and multiculturalism, he added.

The purpose of the organization is to detect intercultural problems of medical law and study them on the basis of multicultural dialogue.
