22nd issue of the journal "Azerbaijani carpets" published

"Azerbaijani carpets" is published by the co-creation of the "Azer-ilm" carpet weaving center and the Presidium of ANAS from the 22nd issue.

The official chronicle, author's articles in the field of art history, historiography, individual folk crafts, reports, scientific articles and interesting translations were found in the journal, which is on the list of scientific publications of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the specialties of art history and history.

The journal widely reflects the activities of the "Azerkhalcha" Open Joint Stock Company. It includes reportage by publicist Ilkham Tumas on "Life Begins with Four Carpets" - about the work of the Fizuli Branch, articles about training courses in the Shamkir District, about cooperation with the HALI magazine, the agenda of the exhibition-sale of DOMOTEX carpets, as well as photos of new woven carpets.

The journal contains articles by the Doctor of philosophy on history, Professor Vidadi Muradov and writer-journalist Malik Mammadov on "Garadzhemirli village: history and carpets", Academician Ismail Hajiyev (ANAS Nakhchivan Department) on "Study of fortresses of Nakhchivan as important sources of the history of Azerbaijan", Ayshat Mahammadova (Dagestan) on "Dagestan carpets", Bakhtiyar Tunjaia (ANAS Institute of folklore) on "Runic signs on carpets and coins", Ph.D in history Sabuhi Ahmmadov (ANAS National Museum of Azerbaijan History) on " Medieval Azerbaijani weapons in museums of Islamic culture", Gaji Abdulla (dissertator ANAS Institute of History after A.A.Bakihanov) on "Zangezur region: from ancient times to the beginning of the XX century", Ph.D Shakir Albalyev (ANAS Institute of Folklore) on "Motive gyulabatyn in Azerbaijan folklore and mythical semantics", Gulzade Abdulova (ANAS National Museum of Azerbaijan History) on "Azerbaijan Women's Jewelry" and other materials on various topics.

The editor-in-chief of the journal is Honored Art Worker, Ph.D. in History, Professor Vidadi Muradov.
