Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

In order to develop scientific cooperation the Scientific Research Institute of Applied Mathematics (SRIAM) of the Baku State University (BSU) and the Institute of Mechanics after S.M.Timoshenko of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine has been signed a cooperation agreement.

According to the agreement, the staff of SRIAM will submit their articles to the journal "Applied Mechanics" published at the Institute of Mechanics and Ukrainian scientists to the journals Applied and Computational Mathematics SRIAM and Theoretical and Applied Mathematics of the Mathematical Society of the Turkic World.

The agreement was approved by the rector of the BSU, Academician Abel Maharramov and Director of the Institute of Mechanics, Academician Alexander Guz and Director of the SRIAM, signed –by Academician Fikret Aliyev and the head of the Department of the Institute of Mechanics, Academician Anatoli Martinuk.
