By organization of International Relations Office of the Presidium of ANAS, “Thomson Reuters” Agency carried out a workshop “Web of Science” for scientists of medical and nature sciences in ANAS Institute of Geography, May 3.

The workshop aims to make familiar scientist and specialists of current fields with the opportunities and key elements of “Web of Science” Data Platform, information resources related to it and publication rules of papers on the international academic journals included in the base.

At the event, an employee of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the Academy of Sciences in Ukraine, editorial chief of “Biopolymers and Cell” journals Irina Tixonkova made a presentation on effective usage rules of global scientific base “Web of Science” and key indicators of it. Specialist stated that, in addition to other fields, internationally recognized baseis included information, scientific reference, document and conference proceedings about several issues of medicine and nature sciences.

In closing, scientific work patterns which published at the global publishers were displayed.
