A round table was held at the Caucasus Studies Institute dedicated to the 94th anniversary of the birth of the great leader Heydar Aliyev

The Institute of Caucasus Studies of ANAS hosted a "round table" dedicated to the 94th anniversary of the birth of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.

Director of this scientific institution, corresponding member of ANAS, Musa Gasimli spoke about the multifaceted activity of genius in the history of our people Heydar Aliyev, his historical merits in defining and implementing the strategy of our country's foreign policy.

It was noted that as a result of the successful policy pursued by President Ilham Aliyev, continuing the strategic course of the national leader in accordance with current realities, Azerbaijan has become the leading state of the South Caucasus and 75% of the region's economy falls precisely on the share of our country.

At the event, Head of the Caucasus Policy Department of the Institute, PhD in History Ramila Dadashova, Head of the Department of Armenian Studies, PhD in History Ziyad Amrahov and others spoke about the goals, objectives and essence of the Caucasian policy of an outstanding statesman.
