Employees of the Azerbaijan Dialectology Department of the Institute of Linguistics named after Nasimi ANAS are preparing the "Dialectological Atlas of the Karabakh Regional Center".

The book is prepared as part of the implementation of paragraph 6.3.5. (Ensuring the study of various dialects and adverbs of the Azerbaijani language in accordance with the requirements of modern times), "State Program on the use of the Azerbaijani language in the context of globalization in accordance with the requirements of the time and the development of linguistics in the country", approved by the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan of April 9, 2013.

For this purpose, members of the expedition, led by the director of the institute, academician Mohsun Nagisoylu, visited the village of Takhta-Korpu of the Agjabedi district. Here they talked about dialects and dialects with internally displaced people from Lachin district.
