Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

On May 17, the next bureau meeting of the Division of Social Sciences of ANAS was held.

Opening the events, Academician-secretary of the department, Academician Nargiz Akhundova brought to the attention of the participants the issues on the agenda.

Then the proposals on the plan for admission to doctoral studies and dissertations for 2017 were discussed.

Then it was decided to nominate the director of the Institute of Law and Human Rights, Doctor of Law Ayten Mustafayeva and head of the Azerbaijani-Russian Relations Department of the Institute of History named after A.A Bakikhanov, Doctor of Historical Sciences Sevinj Aliyeva for the academic title of "Professor of ANAS".

Further, it was decided to appoint Lala Bayramova, Ph.D. in Philology to the post of head of the Education Department of the Institute of Oriental Studies named after Z. Bunyadov of ANAS, Doctor of historical sciences Ali Rajabli, head of the Numismatics Department of the National Museum of Azerbaijan History, Ph.D. in history Bakhtiyar Sailov, head of the Department of Scientific Education and Excursions, Ph.D. in History of Gulzade Abdulova - Department of Ethnography of this institution, which is enrolled.
