An event dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the writer, poetess and literary critic Bahar Bardali and her three-volume "Selected Works" took place at the Literature Institute named after Nizami Ganjavi ANAS.

Speaking at the event, Vice-President of ANAS, Director of the Institute, Academician Isa Habibbeyli spoke about the scientific work of the Ph.D. in Philology, Associate Professor Bahar Bardali and emphasized her attachment to literature. Noting that the works of the scientist are multi-aspected, Academician Isa Habibbeyli stressed that her studies on the poets of Southern Azerbaijan Balash Azeroglu, Sohrab Tahir, Medina Gulgun, Ali Tude, as well as Gabil and Nurangiz Gunle, won success among the literary community.

Speaking about the poet's three-volume "Selected Works", Academician said that Bardali, using rare archival materials and memories, carried out extensive research and made a significant contribution to literary science. I.Habibbeyli brought to attention that in the first volume of the edition the poems of B.Bardali written in different years, the prosaic works devoted to Karabakh, and scientific works are collected in the second volume. I.Habibbeyli noted that the poet in such poems as "Letter to Karabakh", "My native land", "Heroes are born", singing the homeland, systematizing feelings of patriotism in their scientific researches, turned them into serious research.

At the event the reports of the Doctors of philology sciences - Asif Rustamli "Bahar Bardali as a researcher", Vugar Ahmad "The Poetic World of Bahar Bardali" and the Ph.D. in Philology of Manzar Eynullayeva "Prose by Bahar Bardali" were heard.

Then Bahar Bardali was awarded with the Certificate of Honor of the Institute of Literature.

In conclusion, the poetess expressed gratitude to the organizers and participants of the event.
