Monograph on Nakhchivan manuscripts published

"Texts of Manuscripts of Spiritual and Cultural Heritage in Nakhchivan" monograph by head of Department of ANAS Nakhchivan Division, PhD in Philosophy, Assistant Professor Sabuhi Ibragimov published.

The consultant of the book, which was published in the publishing house "Science and Education" are Academician-Secretary of the Department of Humanitarian Sciences of ANAS, Academician Teymur Kerimli, scientific editor-correspondent of ANAS Abulfaz Guliyev, reviewers - Doctor of Philology, Professor Sanan Ibragimov and Doctor of Philology Farman Khalilov.

In this work, for the first time in Azerbaijani textology handwritten sources about Nakhchivan of the late XIX - early XX century, their descriptive principles and other characteristic features were analyzed. The author has drawn to scientific research the scientific, artistic, philosophical and historical chronicles about Nakhchivan, preserved in more than 30 archives, written in Azerbaijani, Turkish, Russian, Persian and Arabic.

In the book, from the philological-textual point of view, the books of Abu Bakr ibn Khosrov al-Ustad under the title "Munisname", Haji Molla Muhammad Nakhchivani "Sahab ad-Dumu", Asadi Tusi's epic "Garshaspename", the letter of Muhammad Taghi Sidgi "Our language and school ", Mamed Said Ordubadi's" Bloody Documents", Mirza Bagir Aliyev's "Our Bloody Days", Aliguli Mirzei Nakhchivani" Agaidi-philosophy","Divan "Heiran Khanum, various letters from Jalil Mammadguluzadeh and secret authors of the magazine" Molli Nasreddin" stored in Osmanli Archives Turkey manuscript titled "Nakhchivan Sandzhak" and other works.

The monograph also tells about the connection between the legends "Astyyag" and "Tomiris" in the book of Herodotus "History", "Oguznam" and dastan "Kitabi-Dede Gorgud" with Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan.

In conclusion, author comes to the conclusion that the Nakhchivan manuscripts of the late 19th and early 20th centuries were written by different types of calligraphy of the Arabic alphabet, and these manuscripts give rich information about the territory, population, toponyms, ethnic composition, science, literature, culture of Nakhchivan.
