Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The results of the contest "Young Scientists and Financial Literacy", announced by the Foundation for Science Development under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan jointly with the Central Bank and the Savings Bank Fund for International Cooperation of Germany on the occasion of "February 2 - Youth Day" has been announced.

The authors of the winning scientific articles on financial literacy have been awarded with a diploma and a monetary prize in the following categories:

1 place: Vugar Mamedzadeh and Samir Agayev - 1500 manat

2 place: Murad Hajiyev - 1000 manat

3 place: Nurlan Kerimov and Yashar Damirov - 500 manat

It should be noted that the purpose of the contest was to increase economic and financial literacy in Azerbaijan, to recognize financial literacy as a social value, to prepare scientific articles aimed at creating appropriate changes in people's behavior, as well as stimulating the activities of young scientists and specialists.
