An event on theme "Fiction is our national wealth" was held at Nakhchivan Department of ANAS.

Director of the library, PhD in history Aytekin Gahramanova spoke at the event organized by Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Library named after M.S.Ordubadi and spoke about the activities of the library in various science and education institutions, their significance and the challenges facing the "Day of Mutality" project. He said such projects are important for increasing people's interest of reading, attracting more readers to libraries, and developing the culture of reading.

Then Elkhan Mammadov, PhD in Philology, Head of Folklore Department of the Institute of Arts, Language and Literature made a lecture on "The role of fiction in the formation of personality” Yegana Rustamova on “The fiction and reading culture”, Tamella Asgarova, head of the library's department of compilation of fiction and reading "Why should we read fiction literature?".

Then, director of the Institute of Arts, Language and Literature of ANAS, correspondent member of ANAS Abulfaz Guliyev, director of the Manuscripts Fund, Doctor of Philology Farman Khalilov and scientific worker of Literature Department Nargiz Ismayilova made their comments and suggestions to the library.

At the end of the event, a mobile exhibition was organized under the headline "Fiction is our national wealth".
