Leading scientific employee of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS, doctor of historical sciences Tufan Akhundov’s second book "Origins of the Caucasian civilization. Neolithic Azerbaijan "Monuments of Garabagh Neolithic tradition " has been published.

The author devoted another book to the 90th anniversary of his teacher, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Ideal Narimanov, who devoted many years to the study of the monuments of the Garabagh Neolithic.

The new book introduces materials of the Neolithic period, obtained in the Garabagh region as a result of archaeological research, which have been stored for more than half a century.

The book gives complete information about each monument, a catalog of items of material culture, revealed during their research, photo tables of certain categories of objects, tables of graphic illustrations of ceramic objects. The book includes the section "Physical Geography of Garabagh and Its Modern Natural and Climatic Conditions", authored by Seyran Veliyev, Doctor of Geographical Sciences.

The scientific editor of the book is Arif Rakhmanov.

The book is designed for everyone interested in ancient history and culture, but especially for archeologists as a visual aid in the study of the ancient history of Garabagh.
