Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The monograph "Genesis and Poetics of Laughter in the Azerbaijani Folklore" by the Director of ANAS Institute of Folklore, Academician Mukhtar Imanov was published in Russian.

The monograph, written on the basis of samples of Azerbaijani folklore, tells about the genesis and poetics of people's laughter. The concept of "laughter" in this book is systematically analyzed in accordance with the samples of folklore.

The editor of the publication is the chief researcher of the Institute of Literature, Doctor of Philology Sarah Osmanli.
