"The Concept of National Thinking and the Ideology of Azerbaijanism in the Azerbaijani literature" monograph was published by the head of the Department of the Institute of Art, Language and Literature of ANAS Nakhchivan Department, Ph.D in Philology, Assistant Professor Ramiz Gasimov and Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Linguistics of the Institute, Ph.D in Philology, Assistant Professor Zulfiya Ismail.

The scientific editor of the book, which was published by the publishing house "Science and Education", is Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli, and the reviewers are correspondent member of ANAS Abulfaz Guliyev and Ph.D in philology Sona Veliyeva.

The monograph describes the concept of national thinking and the ideology of Azerbaijanism. It also tells about the invaluable merits of the national leader Heydar Aliyev in determining the ideology of Azerbaijanism as a national ideology. The monograph strictly analyzes the national ideology, reflected in the epic "Kitabi-Dede Gorkut" and subsequent works of outstanding poets and writers.

The book also presents an analysis of national-ideological issues in the works of such representatives of the Azerbaijani intelligentsia as Muhammad aga Shakhtakhli, Jalil Mammadguluzadeh, Ahmad Javad, Mammad Seid Ordubadi, Mir Jalal, Mammadguseyn Shahriyar, Mammad Araz, Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh and others.

The new edition is intended for students, university professors, researchers and a wide readership.
