The project "Sulfide materials with rare earth elements for the acquisition of white light and energy transformation" of the Laboratory Physics of Non-equilibrium Electron Processes in Semiconductors of the Institute of Physics has won the joint grant competition of ANAS and Italian National Research Council for 2016-2017.
Within the project, was held a seminar at the Institute.
At the event, Deputy Director of the Institute for Scientific Affairs, Academician Javad Abdinov noted that, the institute is conducting research in the field of studying the sources of white light.
The successes achieved in this field have aroused interest on a global scale. It was stressed that, within the framework of the grant project, a group of the Institute's staff is conducting joint research with Italian specialists in foreign institutions.
At the seminar Academician Bahadur Tagiyev delivered paper on "Light Transformations: Physics, Technology, Technology, Prospects", which tells about the history of research conducted in the direction of light transformations.
At the event, also reported employee of the Institute of Applied Physics of Italy, Stefano Pelli, Professor Oktay Tagiyev, Head of the Laboratory of Non-equilibrium Electronic Processes in Semiconductors, Professor Kerim Allahverdiyev and Research Associate Tural Nagiyev.
