Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Professor of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS, professor Rauf Huseynzadeh and historian-ethnographer, late professor Gamarshah Javadov’s "Udins.History.Modernity. Material and moral culture” book has been published in Russian.

The work is dedicated to the ancient history of the Azerbaijani people. The study is based on literary sources and materials of ethnographic desertification.

The publication provides information on the history of pre-Christian and Christian Caucasian Albanians, the Middle Ages (Islam) and the history of the Udins.

The work is of particular importance in terms of confirming the study of multiculturalism and national minorities in Azerbaijan.

The book is intended for historians, ethnologists and readers interested in the past and present state of the Azerbaijani people, as well as its integral parts.

It should be noted that the first edition of the work in Russian was in Germany in 2016. There are now two editions in Azerbaijani.
