Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The opening ceremony of the Azerbaijan-China Technology Transfer Center was held at ANAS High Technologies Park.

The Center was established to cooperate in the field of joint development of high technologies between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the People's Republic of China, transfer of international technologies, creation and promotion of joint high technology products.

The opening ceremony of Azerbaijan-China Technology Transfer Center was attended by representatives of HT Park of ANAS, leadership of China-Russia Innovation Technopark, Chinese businessmen and representatives of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan.

Director General of the China-Russia Innovation Technopark Zhang Jincheng said that technopark, the first intergovernmental and intergovernmental organization in the field of new technologies has great experience of cooperation with the post-Soviet countries. The newly established center will contribute to international cooperation between Azerbaijan and China and will accelerate the establishment of innovation ecosystems in Azerbaijan.

Director of HTP of ANAS, PhD in Agricultural Sciences Vugar Babayev underlined the necessity of implementing successful projects to expand the national innovation system and strengthening of investment flow in this field.

The newly created center will give a great impetus to the development of science in the trade of technology, the promotion of new and high technologies, and the creation of joint laboratories. The expansion of international relations in order to contribute to national economic development through science, technology, the speaker underlined.

Later on, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the HT Park of ANAS and China-Russia Innovation Technopark.

According to the document, the parties will carry out joint scientific and technical programs, innovative projects, exchange information on innovation.
