By the organizational support of ANAS 2nd Special Department of the Presidium of a seminar was held in connection with the issues of military registration and booking of military posts in scientific institutions and organizations of the Academy.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, as well as employees who deal with issues of military registration and booking of military posts in scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS.

Speaking at the seminar, head of the department Eldar Guliyev said that, the event is dedicated to the execution of the President's decree "On the state of work on military registration and booking of military posts in scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS and preparation of an annual report in this field" dated October 12, 2017, number 677. E.Guliyev noted that, work in this direction is carried out in accordance with the Law "On military service and military service".

E.Guliyev brought to attention that the annual report (form 6) on the number of military posts booked for mobilization and wartime will be prepared by December 29, 2017, agreed by the local district department of the State Service and presented in the Second Special Department.

Further, the head of the Mobilization Department of the Ministry of Economy, Bahruz Mammadov, said in his speech that this issue is constantly in the focus of attention of ANAS.

He noted that, the leadership, organization and control over the work on booking military posts in the republic is carried out by the Republican Commission of the Armor Workforce, established by the Cabinet of Ministers on October 24, 2014. B.Mamedov brought to attention that in connection with this, the Working Group was established in the Ministry of Economy, and a lot of work was done in a short time.

Head of the department noted that administrative fines were provided for those who prepared unsatisfactory annual reports on the number of military posts booked. He also touched upon the importance of determining the positions and professions of working in the organizations of military officials during the war.

A representative of the ministry said that, the updated version of “Form 6” and the rules for recruiting servicemen will be submitted to state bodies and organizations in the first half of next year.

Then, Deputy Chief of the Main Directorate of Mobilization Preparation and Mobilization of the State Service for Mobilization and Military Service, Lieutenant-Colonel Shaig Mammadov made a presentation on the nuances of recruitment in departments and organizations.

Later, the chief specialist of the Second Special Department, Natig Mehdiyev, gave recommendations and instructions for clear and correct filling of forms, as well as for improving the rules for preparing annual reports.

At the seminar, also were listened reports regarding the work carried out in the current year on military registration and the reservation of military posts in scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS.

In conclusion, a number of current issues were considered.
