Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The book "Modern Tales" by Vugar Hagverdiyev, a member of the Azerbaijani Writers' Union, Deputy Chief of the Office of Science and Education of the Presidium of ANAS, was published in "Nafta-Press" publishing house.

Scientific editor of the book is prominent literary critic, vice-president of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbeyli.

The book includes works written by the author in recent years, as well as tales in prominent contests.

The tales found in the book are not only of great educational significance for children, but also theme, idea, content and plot are selected from the point of view of relevance and originality. Colorful pictures drawn by the author help to capture images and events in fairy tales.
