A member of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Ali Nuriyev's book "Sustainable and Balanced Regional Development" has been published.

For the first time in the book, theoretical and methodological issues of sustainable and balanced regional development have been analyzed and summarized by applying to the conditions of Azerbaijan. The priorities of sustainable and balanced development have been identified, taking into consideration the current socio-economic development policy of President Ilham Aliyev and the local conditions of the country, as well as the directions of sustainable development and increase of production potential of the regions.

In addition, the new edition publishes a new era of advanced experience accumulated in the field of development of specialized fields of agrarian-industrial complex (viniculture, wine making, cereals, silkworm, hazelnut, saffron, olive, cotton production and processing, tea, tea processing, tobacco production and processing) the use of the conditions conforms to the requirements of sustainable development is one of the irrefutable conditions of sustainable economic development and balanced development of the regions.

Scientific supervisor of the book published by the decision of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Professor R.Sultanova, reviewers are Prof. I.Aliev, T.Aliyev, and PhD in agriculture I. Ibragimov.
