Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

A meeting dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Esmira Javadova, the leading scientific worker of the Institute of Manuscripts of ANAS, Doctor of History, has been held at the International Press Center on December 13, organized by “Kaspi” Press and Education Center and Azerbaijan Press Council.

Speaking at the event, chairman of Azerbaijani Press Council, MP Aflatun Amashov spoke about the life and work of the scientist. He said that most of her creative activity devoted to the founder of the Azerbaijani press, the founder of the newspaper "Ekinchi" Hasan bey Zardabi. E.Javadova's activity publicizes the image of Hasan bey Zardabi in full.

Then Esmira Javadova has been awarded the Diploma of the Press Council of Azerbaijan.

The founder of the Kaspi newspaper, Honorary Journalist Sona Valiyeva, stressed the importance of Esmira Cavadova's research on Hasan bey Zardabi. E. Javadova has been studying Hasan bey Zardabi's heritage for many years. She is the author of numerous articles about Hasan bay Zardabi , she lined out.

Sona Valiyeva presented Esmira Javadova a diploma of Kaspi newspaper.

Head of the Department of Journalism, Baku State University,Professor Jahangir Mammadli, editor-in-chief of “New Azerbaijan” newspaper, Hikmet Babaoglu, deputy director of the Institute for Manuscripts, Doctor of Philology, Pasha Karimov and others talked about the activity of the scientist.

Finally, she thanked the participants of the meeting for the attention to her creativity.
