"Round table" on "Philosophy and Values ​​in Transformational Society " was held at the Institute of Philosophy of ANAS.

The event was attended by Deputy Director of the Institute of Philosophy of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Chuy Wayhan, associate professor Chzu Chunmin, scientific worker Li Hye, head of Knowledge Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Isakhan Valiyev and others.

Director of the Institute of Philosophy, Doctor of Philosophy Professor Ilham Mammadzadeh spoke at the meeting and stressed the importance of developing strong relationships between Azerbaijan and China in various fields. The scientist emphasized the importance of scientific cooperation between Azerbaijani and Chinese philosophers.

Then Chuy Vayhan reminded agreement on cooperation signed between CAS and ANAS in 2016. The aim of the visit is to study the philosophy and culture of Azerbaijan. He noted that human and cultural exchange between the two organizations is an important issue, and invited the Azerbaijani philosophers to the Congress of Philosophy in China in 2018.

Head of the Knowledge Foundation Isakhan Valiyev informed about the organization he lead. The Foundation was established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 7, 2014. Knowledge Foundation has been created to raise scientific-technical, socio-economic and humanitarian knowledge, to promote national-spiritual, religious values, form ecological thinking, to bring public and foreign policy and cultural processes to the public.

Senior scientific worker of the Philosophy Institute, Doctor of Philosophy Zumrud Guluzade made a report on "Actual Problems of Philosophy in the XXI Century", Doctor of Philosophy. Prof. Ali Abbasov on "The Future of Postmodernism, Axiology and future Philosophy", Doctor of Philosophy and etc.

At the end, the agreement was reached on expanding cooperation between the Philosophy Institute and the Institute of Philosophy of CAS.
