According to the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS, the paintings on clay vessels, obtained during archaeological research in the Autonomous Republic in recent years, reveals the ancient history of this pattern. The Buta pattern is painted in the trunk part of these containers with three pieces of symmetry.
According to the results of the research, the most ancient example of the buta pattern around the world is on the clay vessels we mentioned in Nakhchivan.
